| Belief
Statement |
| B.F. Kitchen is committed to creating a school environment
where students become proficient in using skills needed in tomorrow's
society. The processes of learning and the thinking skills needed
to be successful in the future become the framework around which the
curriculum and instructional strategies are built. We envision daily
life at our school being a cooperative environment where students
practice using such processes as questioning, problem solving, and
decision making. Students will use information and skills from specific
subject areas to help them communicate better, forecast future problems,
and create solutions. The school personnel, students, parents, and
community members will work together to ensure that each child reaches
full potential. The school environment will foster and encourage students
to be caring individuals, respecting others, and becoming lifelong
learners and productive citizens. |
