Summer School (2012):  Deadline to Enroll is June 1, 2012!
Thompson School District high school summer school for 2012 offers two options for students.  One is for Credit Recovery utilizing PLATO.  The second is for First-Time Credit courses utilizing Aventa.  Both options will cost students, this year only, $100/course.  Payment for both options will be handled through Monica Brundeen.  Payment can be made as a check or cash taken to the Administration Building or online using a credit card.  Enrollment for both options will be handled through Monica Brundeen and can be done online or manually completed on paper and taken to the Administration Building.  Registration will be handled differently for each option.  Once enrollment paperwork and payment are received, registration information will be given to the appropriate staff:  PLATO or Aventa.  Time and place for both options will be different.  Credit Recovery will be at the Administration Building in the PLATO lab during specific hours.  First-Time Credit will be done off site.  First-Time Credit courses for students to get ahead and have increased schedule flexibility will include an on-site face-to-face for orientation only.  The 18 week course will be finished off-site within 9 weeks.  Thompson Online will provide a mandatory orientation for students on Tuesday, June 5th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. OR 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Walt Clark Middle School (2605 Carlisle Drive, 80537).
