The purpose of the PTSO is to support students, faculty, staff, and parents in matters related to the educational experiences of students at WCMS. Support shall be provided in, but not limited to, the following areas: communication, building school spirit, and expanding learning opportunities. The WCMS PTSO is an organization of Walt Clark Middle School and is not an incorporated body.

The purpose of the Walt Clark Middle School PTSO shall be:

·        To promote and encourage communication and understanding between the parents, teachers, administration, students and community of Walt Clark Middle School  through an exchange of ideas on topics of mutual interest;

·        To promote the mission of Walt Clark Middle School;

·         To bring education into the home so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the children, securing for every child the highest advantages in all aspects of their education; and

·         To serve as an instrument that helps to unify the efforts, time, and talents of the students, parents, and teachers so that the school may truly be a center of education, developed and conveyed to the child.

 All WCMS staff and family members are welcome to join the PTSO Coffee and Planning Hour on campus. We will provide coffee and a small assortment of baked goods. We request that participants bring their own coffee mug (we will have extra cups on-site if you forget) and planners to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere to discuss upcoming events at WCMS.
